TEAM MAGIC GUNNING FOR THEIR 17TH CONSECUTIVE REGULAR SEASON WIN THIS SUNDAY
After finishing last season with a perfect record, but falling short in the championship game in penalty kicks, Team Magic is looking to finish the fight this season.
From the evidence so far, it looks like the only thing that can stop The Magic is themselves. Having defeated the Black team 2 weeks ago playing with only 6 players, The Magic stepped it up a notch to defeat Juan's Gold Team with only 5 players. Team Magic had plans on topping that this coming Sunday by playing the Orange team 4 vs. 7 but the Commish said that would be a forfeit
Most would agree that it's quite a task beating a team 8-2 playing 5 vs. 7, but I am sure most of you have heard about the legend of the Great White Team that won a playoff game against the top team in the league that particular season playing 5 vs. 7 and went on to win the Championship. If you are new to the league, ask your elders about that team or google it.
Team Magic is seeking its first championship since the Spring 2013 which seems like an eternity especially since the league was used to the Magic winning what seemed to be at will. After some serious conversations with Paul Cuthbert, he made me realize that for the past couple seasons, I have been drafting the wrong Barnard. (I didn't want to believe it but look at what he has done this season to a talented Orange Team. Please don't double my fees next season commish.)
Looking forward to seeing everyone this Sunday and for all you Magic fans, please bring your brooms as we look to complete the season sweep of the first meeting of all the teams.
