Greggor comes "unglued"

Posted by: Chase Drew on 2010-05-04 14:54:37

Greggor Jennings has had a great over 30 season. All season long he has rushed to his phone after the game so he can update the standings. Seeing his beloved Gray climb to the top of the standings has been one of the highlights of his year to date.

But the loss to the lowly Green team has sent him reeling. He has been so distraught the last few days that he hasn’t even been able to visit the site. Those close to him say they have removed all sharp objects from his house. They have thrown out all prescription drugs and someone is keeping an eye on him 24 hours a day.

It is hoped that a victory over the suddenly resurgent Red team will lighten his spirits. His friends and family are afraid that any loss my send him over the edge. He was recently seen in Arvin's Pawn looking at assault rifles and buying large amounts of fertilizer at The Home Depot. If you come across Greggor in the next few days you might be well advised to steer clear!

Always remember Greggor, just one goat!

Nice article Chase! Nice to see you progressed from finger painting to writing about Gregor. I'm upset we have't seen an injury update this week...or even the fact that the White team forfeited this week so the could be ready for the playoffs. Like to see an injury update Dr.Drew.

What happened to Adam's post? I more to say.

Wow…another anonymous poster with only partial information. Shocking. If you look over the past posts, I wasn’t the first or even the second to discuss my injury. I thought it was funny so I posted a satirical article in regards to it…I guess that went over your head. Maybe you’re the one that needs to go back to crayons and finger painting

I think Gregor exercised his executive authority and deleted Adam's post.
Thats not right.

I say bring back Chase's Injury Report and Adam's Rant!!!

I personal ask Gregor to remove my article because some of our friends start attacking each other and making ugly comments without posting their real name.
The article was intended to address the issue of commitment and to boost the morality of the Green team so they could break their record of loses and win.
These two goals were achieved with satisfaction and therefore the validity of the article has expired, watch out for another exciting article to come soon from the Green (C).

White forfeited to Orange. Why does the standings not reflect this? With the forfeit, Orange is 3-4-1. White is 3-4-0. Also, I thought Green won their last game?

I meant White is 3-5-0...sorry.

hey give me a break. white is 4 - 5 - 0.
I know we have had a tough time lately, but don't try to take thins away from us also. We are still 2 points in front of you orange. (although that will probably change after this weekend)

Adam, it is incomprehensible that you created a post to clear the air and then eradicated it when others exercised their prerogative to do likewise. The post was fulfilling its purpose by empowering players to express personal discontent with the Green team’s circumstance through a meaningless medium so it does not meddle with play on the pitch. This premise was confirmed when Green demonstrated its resolve to move forward last Saturday by overwhelming Gray. A captain’s duty is to remove barriers that inhibit those under his charge from reaching their collective potential. You were on the course to vindication with your spirited post but now I fear your angst and despair have led you to retract the only source of inspiration left for the beleaguered Green. I fear your crusade is now lost.

It takes courage to lead, Adam. Heed the example I set on the field. Curse your minions for being the desolate saps that they are. Do this so they know your quality is absolute and quiver at the thought of disappointing you. With the captaincy you wield great authority over those in your service. Should you use it properly there is no need for outlandish post’s to motivate your subjects. They will show up for every game fearing your vengeance if they do not come out the victor. Lead them Adam, they are desperate for a strong hand to show them the way.

Yeah, I left out a game when I was looking at the standings...honest mistake...not trying to take anything from anyone on the forum...only on the field.

Wow Paul, is that what your were doing? We all just thought you were an a..hole!

Gregor hasnt update the standings becuase he "says" he is out of town. The truth is he hasnt been able to cope with his loss.

gregor is in michigan

Guest @ 2010-05-06 14:48:12

he still has his phone with him. Heck, he normally updates the league while sitting under the tree having a beer.

What a splendidly eloquent piece written by Mr P. It reminds me of one of my own wine columns
